Purchase Prints
All of my photographs are available for purchase as open edition fine art prints. Each print is professionally printed using archival quality materials. A minimum of 10% of each fine art print purchase is donated to charity. Beneficiaries include environmental education programs, wildlife rehabilitation centers, conservation organizations, and other groups promoting positive environmental action. Beneficiaries change regularly, so please visit my blog or email me for information about the current non-profit to which proceeds are being donated. The watermarks and copyright signatures that appear on the images on this website are for the photographer's protection and will not appear on your purchased prints. Matted photographic prints, custom sizes, printed products, and other custom services are also available. Please contact the photographer for more information on these products. Prices listed include shipping, handling, and vendor fees in the continental United States. To order prints, please email me at sales@karipost.com.
Stock Photo Licensing
I have thousands of bird, wildlife, landscape, and nature photographs available for editorial and commercial licensing, many of which are displayed in the stock gallery on this website. Publishers, editors, and advertisers wishing to purchase image rights, please contact me for publication and stock uses. Include the image identification number (which can be found as the image's url) and/or titles of the images of interest, intended use, reproduction size, and distribution of materials in your inquiry. I also have additional images in my files not displayed in my Stock Galleries. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to email me and I will look to see if I have anything that meets your needs.
Guide Services, Workshops, and Photographic Instruction
If running workshops was as simple as heading out in the field with some nature loving folks and teaching them how to take great photos, I would run large group workshops on a regular basis. However, to be an effective (and legal) photography workshop leader, there is a lot of organizing, planning, and marketing involved, and professionals must get liscences, permits, insurance, and follow other legal obligations. Not only do I find these factors to be intimidating and cost prohibitive, but I simply do not have the time, as a full time graduate student and outdoor educator, to fit running a successful photo workshop business into my schedule.
On occassion, I do instruct group workshops affiliated with existing organizations (such as those run by a nature center or photo festival) or in conjunction with other licensed and authorized workshop leaders. I love teaching and meeting new people, especially people who share a similar love of nature, adventure, and photography, and by pairing up with others to help with the logistical and promotional process, leading workshops becomes a lot more fun for me. When I do instruct workshops of this nature, I will announce them on my blog.
I am also working to design programs that connect young people with their environment through photography, and offer photography curriculums, lessons, and workshops to children, middle and high school, and college students. These programs are currently in development. If you are, or know of, an organization or group wishing to provide similar programming or fund such projects, please contact me.
If you are another photographer who would just like to meet up and shoot together we should talk. I'm happy to meet up with other like minded folks and enjoy exploring new locations (or revisiting old ones) with good company. I'm even willing to offer some friendly photographic instruction and tips in exchange for some local knowledge and awesome photo opportunities. So if you live in a neat location, know some great spots, and want to improve your skills but don't feel like shelling out big bucks on workshops and lessons, send an email my way.
In addition to photography, I also work as a professional outdoor educator and trip guide. I've instructed backpacking, climbing, and paddling courses for a number of clients including Project U.S.E., Princeton-Blairstown Center, Camp Dudley YMCA, The College of New Jersey, and Johns Hopkins University. I have a current Wilderness First Responder Certification and am available for contract work as my schedule permits.
