by Kari Here is another photograph of local color taken during my one hour shooting session on the 13th. Just two days after this image was taken, I noticed that the area is past peak for color this autumn, so unless I get the chance to make a trip down south this season, this may be the last bold fall color image I have this season. In the upcoming days that I have off, I will try to focus on some more intimate photographs of the seasons colors and hopefully capture at least a couple more images of what many photographers are saying is the best autumn season for color in a long time in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States.

Hey Kari,
Nice shot. Really like the array of colors here. The foliage is pretty drab here in the Blue Ridge, to be honest. I hope Chris got that monitor from you, because I’m waiting to see some WV blog updates from him.

Howdy Kari. We met on the jetty at Barnegat last year. Saw that you had a blog on Naturescapes and thought that I would provide a comment on your blog. Beautiful colors with this shot.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the Chic shoot. Was hoping to make it to the Shenandoah this weekend but canceled due to the weather forecast. Blue Skies.
