On Saturday, I drove four-and-a-half hours to see my boyfriend, Chris, and spend the holidays with him and his family at his grandparents’ house in Bernhard’s Bay, New York. I plan to spend the next few weeks in upstate New York and hope to photograph many wintertime subjects.
On Sunday, a Nor’easter hit the area and dumped about a foot of snow around the Oneida Lake region of New York state where I am staying. This morning Chris and I went for a long walk around the woods behind his grandparents’ house to photograph the results of the storm. This is my favorite shot from our adventure.

I love sticky snowfalls like this. Walking through a forest in conditions like this is simply magical. You captured it wonderfully. Good luck with your blog!
