Everyone who is already a fan on my Facebook page is already in the running. I'm doing a new drawing for every 100 new members. Right now I have around 250 fans, so when that number reaches 300, I'll randomly select three people to win prints. When it reaches 400, I'll randomly select another person from my 400 fans. At 500, I select another one from the 500 fans and so on. So even though the odds get a little tougher as I get more fans, anyone who was a fan early on will get entered in more raffles. So it pays not only to join early, but to convince as many others to join as well to increase your odds of winning. I really haven't done much shooting north of New Jersey outside of New York state, but I do plan to get up there more often. I have a friend in MA who invited me back up (I was visiting him last year when I got the snowy shot), so I'll probably do some shooting up that way soon. I do offer workshops from time to time, but I find that there aren't too many areas in the Northeast that are very reliable for shooting and allow for larger groups of photographers. I try to keep my own photography low impact, so prefer to do private and semi-private lessons to both protect the subject and provide for the best instructional experience. IMO, larger groups are best kept to the bigger refuges and parks where great shooting can be done from paved roads and paths designed to withstand lots of foot travel. Originaly from MA I used to bird there often, and love chances to shoot there, especially this time of year. Now in Fairfield CT, I have fewer places, but the list is getting longer and the coast here is nice. Just getting started and set up at the moment.
