I'm sorry you interpreted my blog post as negative. I am very critical of my own work and always looking for improvement. In this particular shot, I'm not happy with the angle of the bird as I wish the position was more horizontal to the camera so that the back and tail were visible. I like the low angle and limited DOF, but I realize that a head on shot is less ideal that a side profile would have been. I don't think this is a bad shot, I just think it could be improved upon and I'm hoping to do better with this particular species since I see them every year come winter. If I was really unhappy with it, I would have junked it right away, and I certainly wouldn't have gone through the trouble to process it and post it on my blog. Matt, thank you for your comment.
