Welcome to my new blog! Here you will find a wide range of information about my nature photography, including equipment and product reviews, tips and techniques for shooting in the field and processing your images in the digital darkroom, and my travels and photographs.
If you are not already familiar with who I am, my name is Kari Post and I am a nature and wildlife photographer based in New Jersey. I am currently finishing my senior year at The College of New Jersey and will be graduating in May 2008 with degree in Health and Physical Education, but my true love is and has always been nature. I’ve enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors ever since I was a very little girl, and now I try to share the beauty and wonder of the natural world with others through photography. I photograph natural subjects of all kinds, from birds and wildlife to landscapes and people enjoying outdoor recreation. In particular I love creating abstract images of natural subjects, because I enjoy the challenge of showing people something they may have seen before in a way that is new and different.
