Kari Post Photography offers a wide variety of products to meet your needs for high quality natural history photographs and photojournalism assignments and services to help improve your photography skills in the field. FINE ART PRINTS All of my photographs are available for purchase as open edition fine art prints. Each print is professionally printed using archival quality materials. 20% of each fine art print purchase is donated to charity. Beneficiaries include environmental education programs, wildlife rehabilitation centers, conservation organizations, and other groups promoting positive environmental action. Beneficiaries change regularly, so please visit my blog or email me for information about the current non-profit to which proceeds are being donated.
The watermarks and copyright signatures that appear on the images on this website are for the photographer's protection and will not appear on your purchased prints. Matted and framed photographic prints, custom sizes, and other custom services are also available. Please contact the photographer for more information on these products. Prices above include shipping, handling, and vendor fees. To order prints, please email me at sales@karipost.com. STOCK PHOTO LICENSING I have thousands of bird, wildlife, landscape, and nature photographs available for editorial and commercial licensing, many of which are displayed in the stock gallery on this website. Publishers, editors, and advertisers wishing to purchase image rights, please contact me for publication and stock uses. Include the image identification number and/or titles of the images of interest, intended use, reproduction size, and distribution of materials in your inquiry. I also have additional images in my files not displayed in my Stock Galleries. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to email me and I will look to see if I have anything that meets your needs. GUIDE SERVICES, WORKSHOPS, AND PRIVATE INSTRUCTION I'm a busy bee and find that it can be difficult for me to plan and commit to large group workshops well in advance. I also struggle ethically with the idea of possibly exploiting a particular location by introducing it to a handful of strangers whose environmental values and knowledge may vary significantly from my own. For these reasons, I tend not to organize or offer group workshops of my own on a regular basis at this time. However, I do love teaching and meeting new people, especially people who share a similar love of nature, adventure, and photography, and occassionally instruct group workshops organized by nature centers, tour companies, photography festivals, and non-profits, or in conjunction with other nature photographers. For me, these are less stressful and therefore more enjoyable, allowing me to teach other photographers without the headache of all the organization, logistics, and marketing associated with doing my own workshops. When I do offer these, I will announce them on my blog. I love meeting new photographers and love sharing my knowledge of photography and certain public photography locations with others, so I do offer private workshops for small groups (up to three students) and individuals. Private and small group lessons can be customized to fit your schedule, budget, and shooting preferences. Slots for lessons are filled based on my availability and whatever suitable subjects happen to be in season. If you are interested in a private or small group session, please email me for an application. In addition to photography instruction, I also offer guided tours in the backcountry and recreational sport instruction, including backpacking and flatwater canoeing and kayaking. By "profession" I am an outdoor educator and wilderness guide, and have instructed courses and led trips for a variety of clients, including Project U.S.E., Princeton-Blairstown Center, George Mason University, The College of New Jersey, and Johns Hopkins University. I am available for both contract work and leading private trips as my schedule permits. Photographers and non-photographers alike are welcome. If you are another photographer who would just like to meet up and shoot somewhere together, that can be arranged too. Unlike my private lessons, I won't give you exercises to make you a better shooter or focus on getting you the best shots all day, but it can be a fun way to meet up, maybe trade some tips, and shoot a bit together. I will also offer photographic instruction in exchange for some local knowledge and awesome photo opportunities, so if you live in a great location and know some great spots, but want to improve your skills and don't feel like shelling out big bucks on workshops and lessons, send an email my way. SEMINARS AND PRESENTATIONS I offer presentations and programs for a wide variety of purposes, and am available to speak at your camera club, local photo show, environmental organization, convention, or expo. My presentations range from educational to inspirational, and are highly customizable to meet your needs. Contact me for more information and to schedule a date. PHOTO ASSIGNMENTS I am an environmentalist at heart (even if I admit I could be better in practice) and love working with conservation groups, educational associations, and other groups in promoting environmental awareness and advocacy. My background in journalism is very useful when documenting natural history related topics, and I enjoy working on photo assignments related to wildlife, nature, travel, conservation, and the environment. I am available to work on assignments as a photographer or photographer-writer. Individuals, organizations, and companies interested in such services should contact me with their specific requests. My client list includes NatureScapes.Net, Stony Brook Camera Club (MA), Pocono Photo Club (PA), and individual photographers residing in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. |
